Zendesk
Zendesk toolkit for Arcade enables agents and applications to interact with Zendesk support accounts — managing tickets, comments, and Help Center knowledge base articles via OAuth-authenticated API calls.
Capabilities
- Ticket management: List tickets with offset-based pagination, mark tickets as solved (with optional final comment), and retrieve direct
html_urllinks to tickets in the Zendesk UI. - Ticket comments: Add comments to existing tickets and retrieve full comment threads, including the original description, author IDs, timestamps, visibility (public/internal), and file attachments.
- Knowledge base search: Search published Help Center articles by query string, label names, or combined filters with paginated results — all filters composable in a single call.
- Identity & account context: Retrieve the authenticated user's profile, role, organization details, and Zendesk account metadata.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Zendesk provider. See the Arcade Zendesk auth provider docs for setup instructions.
Secrets
ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN — Your Zendesk account subdomain (the {subdomain} part of https://{subdomain}.zendesk.com). This is not a credential but a required routing identifier that tells the toolkit which Zendesk instance to target. Find it by logging into your Zendesk account and inspecting the URL. It is the alphanumeric slug unique to your organization's Zendesk account.
Configure secrets in the Arcade secrets dashboard and refer to the Arcade secrets guide for full instructions.
